There are many ways to serve others in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. You have God-given gifts to share, and BPC has plenty of opportunities to serve the church and community. Volunteer your time on Sunday mornings by helping to prepare communion, hand out bulletins as a greeter, bring food for fellowship after church, teach Sunday School, join a ministry like Women's Group, serve on a committee and more. Our groups keep Outreach in mind, like ringing the Salvation Army Bell, making Valentines for shut-ins, supporting local schools and not-for-profits, and collecting goods for shelters and the like.
Be a Greeter, Prepare Communion, or Bring Food for Fellowship
Only 15 minutes before church, you can help by handing out bulletins and greeting people as they walk in the door. If you are shy, try preparing communion. Fellowship is every Sunday immediately following the 9:30 church service where we love to eat and converse freely. Bring a dish or dessert. We also love celebrating holidays, from Halloween to Christmas, to the SOUP-er Bowl (picture). There's always a chance to pitch in!
Teach Sunday School
Do you love kids? Boggstown Presbyterian Church has a large population of youngsters that have Sunday School every week during the 9:30am service. If you can't commit every week, no problem. Have crafty art ideas to support the curriculum? We'd be happy to hear your thoughts.
Outreach - Volunteer for Salvation Army, collect goods for those in need, help fill boxes for Gleaners, and more!
